Guwahati, 22nd June: A dispute over a mobile phone between two brothers in Digboi’s Borbeel area turned deadly when the elder sibling, Ajay Soren, was fatally stabbed by his younger brother, Anan Soren.
Reports indicate that the argument initially erupted between Ajay and his wife regarding the phone. Amidst the heated exchange, Anan intervened, exacerbating the situation further. The altercation escalated quickly, resulting in Anan allegedly using a sharp weapon to fatally wound Ajay.
Following the stabbing, Anan fled the scene, leaving Ajay critically injured. Local police responded swiftly to the incident and have launched a thorough investigation into the murder. Their efforts are focused on locating Anan Soren, who remains at large.
Authorities are continuing to gather information to piece together the sequence of events that led to the tragic outcome in Digboi.
