Manas has a new beginning after a five-month pause

New life is back to Manas National Park. Tourists have started coming after the last five months. Manas National Park has been closed to tourists for the last five months due to lockdown. Due to the corona epidemic, the park authorities have blocked the flow of tourists. With this jeep safari, elephant safari, and resorts were closed.

Lockdown also put at risk the lives and livelihoods of over 200 families associated with Manas.  However, as a result of the closure of Manas, these people are economically disadvantaged. Following the announcement of the new SOP by the state government, the park authorities reopened the World Heritage Manah National Park to tourists on October 1.

After the official opening of Manas headquarters by BTC forest department executive member Ranjit Basumtari, jeep safari, as well as elephant safari, have started for tourists. The color of hope and happiness has returned to the national park recently. Tourists from different fields have arrived. The picturesque natural landscape of evergreen manas has now made tourists feel better.

The arrival of the tourist has delighted the owners, the authorities, and those associated with the jeep safari and elephant safari. They hope that even if there are no foreign tourists, the national park will be visited by visitors from different parts of the country. Here in Manas, The number of animals has increased. Now The dying tourist entrepreneurs will be re-charged again. Because lockdown has also given manas a new life.
