Manas National Park: Tourist Surge Hits as Wildlife Sightings Increase
Guwahati, 1st November: The Manas National Park in Assam has been experiencing a surge in tourist arrivals since the commencement of this year’s tourist season. Since the park opened its doors to tourists on October 1, there has been a notable influx of both domestic and foreign visitors eager to witness the natural beauty and wilderness of Manas. This year, a significant number of foreign tourists, primarily from the United States and Germany, have explored the park.
The main draws at the park this season are sightings of tigers, rhinos, elephants, wild buffaloes, and various other wildlife species. The authorities of Manas National Park anticipate that the current season will witness a record number of visitors by its conclusion next year.

The owners of lodges and resorts surrounding the park are delighted with the tourist turnout and the increasing sightings of wildlife. Sanjit Das, a resort owner, commented, “This year, both domestic and foreign tourists have flocked to the park in large numbers. Tourists have had the opportunity to witness several tigers, and other animals are also being spotted frequently. Visitors are delighted with their experiences.”
