Mangaldoi, 15th August: The Darrang District Youth Congress celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and a commitment to service, led by Mangaldoi Woman Leader Rijumoni Talukdar. The day began with the proud hoisting of the National Flag at the organization’s headquarters, symbolizing the nation’s enduring freedom and unity.
Rijumoni Talukdar, a prominent woman leader from Mangaldoi, led the flag hoisting ceremony, reflecting the spirit of independence that continues to inspire the nation. However, the celebration did not end there.
Following the flag hoisting, Rijumoni Talukdar, along with members of the Darrang District Youth Congress, visited key healthcare facilities in the region, including Kharupetia CHC, Mangaldoi Civil Hospital, and Sipajhar Primary Community Health Centre. These visits highlighted the organization’s commitment to the welfare and health of the community, demonstrating their dedication to the ideals of independence.
