Manipur: Armed Miscreants Loot SBI Branch in Churachandpur’s K. Salbung Village

Northeast Desk, 2nd May: Churachandpur’s tranquility was shattered on May 2 as unidentified armed miscreants executed a daring robbery at the State Bank of India (SBI) branch nestled in K. Salbung village.

According to reliable sources, the audacious heist unfolded around 2 pm when a group of approximately four assailants, armed with weapons, forcefully entered the bank premises.

During the brazen robbery, one gunshot was reportedly fired, sending shockwaves through the village. The miscreants swiftly plundered an estimated sum of Rs. 20 lakhs from the bank’s coffers before making a hasty escape.
