Manipur: BJP Celebrates 44th ‘Sthapana Diwas’ with Fervor in Tamenglong
Northeast Desk, 6th April: The 44th ‘Sthapana Diwas’ of the Bharatiya Janata Party resonated with fervor and enthusiasm as it was commemorated at the Tamenglong district BJP Headquarters today.
In his address at the function, M Asnikumar Singh, the spokesperson of BJP Manipur Pradesh and the dedicated Prabhari of Manipur Outer Parliamentary Constituency, highlighted the significance of the occasion, marking the milestone journey of the party. The celebration served as a unifying platform for dedicated karyakartas, fostering a spirit of commemoration and camaraderie.
Singh emphasized the BJP’s unwavering commitment to serving the people of Manipur and beyond, reaffirming the party’s dedication to advancing progress and prosperity in the region. Encouraging all karyakartas to redouble their efforts, he underscored the importance of advancing the BJP’s transformative agenda for the welfare and development of Tamenglong and the broader Manipur community.
Taking a swipe at the Congress party, Singh criticized their history of making empty promises, citing the ‘Look East’ policy, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transformed into the proactive ‘Act East’ policy, implementing it for tangible benefits. Contrasting the BJP’s approach with that of the Congress, he highlighted the party’s commitment to empowering all segments of society, including women, youth, and marginalized communities.
Singh also addressed the unrest and violence gripping Manipur, attributing it to the divisive vote bank politics of the Congress party. He emphasized the need to recognize the roots of this turmoil, which, according to him, were sown during the Congress’ reign, asserting that BJP stands as a beacon of stability and progress in the state.
