Norhteast Desk, 27th November: Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda has landed in Manipur’s Imphal Airport, where he is set to marry model-turned-actress Lin Laishram on November 29.
The couple, who officially announced their wedding on November 25, will have a traditional Manipuri wedding, embracing the local customs and rituals.
The actor, known for his roles in various Hindi films, was warmly welcomed at Imphal Airport by his soon-to-be-wife Lin Laishram.
“Taking a leaf out of Mahabharata where Arjuna married Manipuri warrior princess Chitrangada, we are getting married with the blessing from our family and friends. We are filled with immense joy to share that our marriage will take place on November 29, 2023, in Imphal, Manipur, followed by a reception in Mumbai,” the couple said in a joint statement.
Before their wedding, the couple plans to visit the Marjing Polo Statue, the world’s tallest statue of a polo player, and the historic Kangla Fort.
The wedding festivities will be followed by a reception in Mumbai, although the specific date for the Mumbai reception is yet to be known.
