Guwahati: A moderate intensity blast has triggered panic in Imphal city of Manipur in the wee hours on Wednesday.
The blast took place at around 3 in the morning.
The blast occurred in the Achanbingei Mayai Leikai area of Imphal East district of Manipur.
As per reports, the blast took place outside the gate of residence of Adhyaksha of Imphal East Zilla Parishad – Pungsungbam Bimola Devi.
However, no casualty was reported in the blast.
Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation into the case.
