Northeast Desk, 14th August: Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh expressed optimism about the return to normalcy in the violence-affected northeastern state. He shared these sentiments with reporters on Sunday during the 132nd Patriot’s Day celebrations held in the Imphal West district.
Singh stated, “Manipur is gradually recovering from the recent turmoil. We now call upon the cooperation of a diverse spectrum of society to ensure the protection of the state’s territorial integrity at all costs. With the backing of the public, our administration is committed to upholding peace, and prosperity, and safeguarding the state’s territorial boundaries.”
