Guwahati: In order to increase the number of vaccinated people in the state, the Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh flagged off 80 COVID-19 Vaccine Express vehicles on Thursday.
Talking about the vehicles CM wrote on Facebook that the vehicles will cover 13 districts in the next few days and vaccinate all eligible persons at their doorsteps.
He added, “I’m proud to announce that under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi Ji, Manipur has crossed the milestone of 20 lakh total vaccination.”
CM further urged the citizens to get vaccinated and the government to fight against the pandemic.
It may be mentioned that earlier also the chief minister flagged off around 40 such vehicles for Imphal West, Imphal East and Senapati districts.
