Manipur CM meets Himanta Biswa Sarma, discusses welfare of Manipuris living in Assam
Northeast Desk, 7th January: Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on January 6 engaged in significant discussions with his Assam counterpart, Himanta Biswa Sarma, in Guwahati.
The meeting centered around crucial topics related to the security and development of the Northeast region.
During their deliberations at Himanta Biswa Sarma’s official residence, the two leaders explored various measures aimed at enhancing the welfare of Manipuris residing in Assam.
The Manipur Chief Minister took to his Twitter handle to express the pleasure of meeting with Himanta Biswa Sarma and highlighted the comprehensive talks on Northeast development.
Biren Singh’s tweet read, ” It was a pleasure meeting with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Shri @himantabiswa Ji, at his official residence in Guwahati today. Discussed various matters concerning the security and development of the North East region. The measures for the welfare of the Manipuris living in Assam were also deliberated”.
