Manipur CM N. Biren Singh Launches Mine Protected Vehicles for State Police

Northeast Desk, 7th March: Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh on Wednesday, March 6 inaugurated seven Mine Protected Vehicles (MPVs) for the Manipur Police at the 1st Manipur Rifles Parade Ground.

Expressing his gratitude towards the Chief Minister for the provision of MPVs, the Director-General of Police, Shri Rajiv Singh, highlighted their significance in bolstering the capabilities of the police force. He also noted the imminent arrival of three additional MPVs, emphasizing their crucial role in maintaining control over various areas and ensuring the safety and security of Manipur’s citizens.

The event witnessed the presence of various dignitaries, including Ministers, MLAs, Chief Secretary Dr. Vineet Joshi, Security Advisor Shri Kuldiep Singh, as well as several senior administrative and police officers.
