Imphal, Manipur – A football coach has been apprehended by the Manipur police in the Imphal East district following serious allegations of sexual assault.
The arrest comes after accusations that the coach sexually assaulted at least eleven young girls who were undergoing training at his football academy.
According to police officials, a formal case has been registered, and a comprehensive investigation into the matter is currently underway. Authorities have stated that the alleged assaults are reported to have occurred over several months.
