Manipur: Injured Myanmar National Succumbs to Bullet Injuries in Imphal Hospital

Northeast Desk, 24th November: A 23-year-old Myanmar national, identified as Khohantum, succumbed to bullet injuries at the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) in Imphal, Manipur.

Khohantum, a resident of Thanan village in Myanmar, was brought to Imphal for medical treatment after sustaining lower abdominal gunshot wounds.

The incident is linked to the escalating gun battle between the Myanmar Army and the Chin National Defence Force (CNDF) in the Chin state of Myanmar.

The patient was admitted eight hours after sustaining injuries and later passed away during medical treatment.
