Imphal: A joint operation involving Imphal West and Kangpokpi district police, along with the Indian Army’s 57 Mountain Division, is currently underway to locate a missing individual, Laishram Kamalbabu Singh.
The 56-year-old, a resident of Gosaipur, Udarbond, Cachar District, Assam, was last seen in Leimakhong on November 25, 2024.
Security forces have initiated a comprehensive search operation, scouring both the hilly and valley regions of Manipur. Teams are conducting rigorous physical searches, area domination operations, and joint operations in various locations, including Leimakhong, Mongbung Meitei, Mongbung Kuki, Balijuri, Kashimpur, Jarolpokpi, Jakuradhor Part I & II, and Harinagar.
The authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Laishram Kamalbabu Singh to come forward and assist in the search. As the operation continues, hopes remain high for a positive outcome.
