Northeast Desk, 27th November: In a series of extensive search operations conducted across Manipur, the state police dismantled bunkers and conducted area domination exercises in vulnerable areas on November 26.
The operations spanned districts including Kakching, Bishnupur, Tamenglong, Jiribam, Imphal West, Thoubal, and Tengnoupal. Notably, security forces destroyed three bunkers in Phaitol village, Tamenglong district.
A total of 137 checkpoints were set up in various districts, with 221 individuals detained for violations in both hill and valley areas. The operations aim to enhance security and curb potential threats in different parts of Manipur.
