In another operation on November 2, Manipur Police arrested a member of the People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK-PRO) in the Kumbi area of Bishnupur District. Amid heightened security measures, authorities facilitated the safe passage of 309 vehicles carrying essential supplies on National Highways 37 and 2. Security convoys have been deployed along vulnerable segments of these routes to prevent disruptions and maintain an uninterrupted flow of goods.

To reinforce security further, Manipur Police set up a network of 110 checkpoints, or ‘Nakas,’ across various districts, including both hill and valley areas. Police detained nine individuals for alleged violations as part of these security operations, underscoring the state’s dedication to maintaining peace and safety amid ongoing tensions.
