In a welcome development for students and parents in Manipur, the state government has announced the reopening of all schools, including government, government-aided, private, and central institutions, from Monday, November 25, 2024.
The decision to reopen schools was taken after a brief closure in the valley districts from November 21 to 23, implemented as a precautionary measure to ensure student safety.
The Department of Education (Schools) has directed all Zonal Education Officers to disseminate this information and ensure that necessary arrangements are made for a smooth reopening.
The state government has urged all stakeholders, including school authorities, teachers, and parents, to work together to facilitate a seamless transition back to regular academic activities.
