Northeast Desk, 28th November: Continuing the regular search operations in the fringe and vulnerable areas of Manipur, security forces persist in their area domination efforts across Kakching, Imphal West, Thoubal, and Tengnoupal districts.
Ensuring the smooth movement of essential goods, a total of 383 vehicles along NH-37 and 126 vehicles along NH-2 have been facilitated. Stringent security measures have been implemented in all vulnerable locations, with security convoys safeguarding sensitive stretches to guarantee the unrestricted and secure movement of vehicles.
In a proactive approach, 138 checkpoints have been set up across different districts of Manipur, spanning both the hill and valley regions. Police have taken action by detaining 227 individuals in connection with violations observed in various districts of the state. These measures collectively contribute to maintaining order and security in Manipur.
