Northeast Desk, 29th December: Reports have surfaced indicating a setback in the gradual return to normalcy in Manipur as state-based lyricist Akhu Chingangbam was reportedly abducted at gunpoint on December 29.
According to sources, armed miscreants seized the lyricist, forcibly taking him after threatening his wife and mother at gunpoint.
The incident occurred in Khurai, located under Imphal East, the hometown of Akhu Chingangbam.
