Manipur Users Collective Launches Comprehensive Free Drug Treatment Program
Northeast Desk, 3rd February: In a collaborative effort with the Social Welfare Department, Government of Manipur, the Manipur Users Collective (MUC), an NGO based in Imphal, has initiated a two-month comprehensive free drug treatment program.
The program is specifically designed to address the needs of underprivileged and street-based drug users, providing them with support and rehabilitation. Aimed at tackling the critical issue of substance use in the community, this initiative offers a holistic approach to recovery.
Participants in the program will have access to various services, including counseling, medical assistance, community strengthening, and community reintegration support. MUC is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment that fosters personal growth and enables individuals to break free from the cycle of addiction.
