Northeast Desk, 11th December: The Manipur Youth League (MAYOL) has declared a long march for national regeneration scheduled to take place from December 20 to January 9, 2024, across all five valley districts of Manipur.
Commencing from Kangla Fort on December 20, the march will conclude at Gambhir Singh Park in Canchipur on January 9. The route includes Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Bishnupur, and Kakching districts.
In a released statement, MAYOL urged the support of civil society organizations, Meira Paibi, and the student body to ensure the success of the event.
The primary objective of the long march is to promote the message of peaceful co-existence, advocate for uniform development, and restore peace in the state.
The organization plans to conduct several meetings at various locations within the five districts throughout the march.
