Guwahati: India reported 9,531 fresh cases of covid-19 in the past 24hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family welfare (MoHFW) informed, many new cases were detected from a total of 2,29,546 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
Reportedly, taking the cumulative count to 88.27 crores while taking the country’s active caseload down to 97,648.
The total number of deaths caused by COVID-19 in India has now reached to 5,27,368.
In addition, 11,726 Covid-19 recoveries in India were noted in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,37,23,944.
Notably, the percentage of active cases is currently 0.22%, and the recovery rate is 98.59%. Both the daily and weekly positive rates are 4.15 and 3.59 percent respectively.
The cumulative number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered across the country is now 210.02 crore, with 35,33,466 doses administered in the past 24 hours as part of the widespread vaccination campaign.
