Massive 7.0 magnitude earthquake hits Turkey and Greece, over 22 killed in Turkey

A massive 7.0 magnitude earthquake had hit Turkey and Greece on Friday killing over 22 people and more than 700 have been injured. The powerful quake has caused huge flooding and many buildings have collapsed in many cities of Turkey.

After the massive earthquake 196 aftershocks tremors were felt with 23 of them over magnitude 4.0. The major earthquake had hit 14 kilometers (nine miles) off the Greek town of Karlovasi on Samos. Rescue and search operations are going on in both the countries.
