Massive fire breaks out at Assam’s Nagaon district
Guwahati: A massive fire broke out in Nagaon district of Assam on Sunday midnight.
The incident took place in the Maniram Dewan Road of Morikolong Chariali near Nagaon Civil Hospital.
As per the sources of MyNewsNE, at least 8 business establishments were completely gutted in front of civil hospital in the devastating fire, and properties worth crores were burnt to ashes.
The fire has caused extensive damage to a salon, a shop selling handcrafted furniture. The fire also damaged computer sales companies, several pan-copper stores, hotels, and other businesses.
Meanwhile, the fire also broke out at the residence of a man named Taufiq Ahmed.
However, 5 fire tenders rushed to the affected place and doused the fire.
It needs to be mentioned that the reason behind the fire is believed to be an electrical short circuit.
