Massive fire breaks out in Assam’s Tamulpur after oil tanker explodes

Guwahati, 26th June: A devastating fire broke out in Assam’s Tamulpur district today after an oil tanker bound for Bhutan exploded.

The oil tanker lost control and fell into a ditch, and the explosion occurred while attempts were being made to lift the tanker.

The area has been cordoned off, and vehicles are stranded on both sides of the accident site on the national highway.

No reports of injuries or fatalities have been confirmed yet.

The cause of the explosion is currently under investigation.
