Massive fire breaks out on 3 coaches of Falaknuma Express

National desk, 7 July: In a tragic train accident, massive fire broke out due to a short circuit on the Falaknuma Express on its way from Howrah to Sikenderabad in Telangana.

The crew of the train informed the pilot about this after witnessing thick smoke emanating from two coaches of the passenger train. The train was then stopped at a place between Pagidippalli-Bommaipalli. The Panicked passengers somehow managed to save their lives after stopping the train and got off the train and stayed at a distance.

Moreover, the fire gradually spread to six coaches. According to the latest information the fire has already completely gutted four coaches of the train. On receiving the news of the incident railway officials present at the spot separated the link between the coaches and took the other part of the train forward.

Meanwhile, fire tenders have not been able to douse the fire from the coaches of the train that fell into the fire as there is no arrangement to go to the site. Local police and RDO personnel have already reached the spot. Moreover,  Railway General Manager Arun Kumar Jain is said to have left for the spot.

On the other hand, passengers who somehow escaped the horrific incident are terrified. All of them already in the coaches were gutted in the fire. One of the passengers of the train cried and mentioned that while on her way to Hyderabad for a job, all her belongings including all her certificates were burnt to death in the massive fire that broke out on the moving train.
