Guwahati: Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project main dam was damaged in places by a major landslide occurred as a result of heavy rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh on Monday.
The main dam of the Lower Subansiri Hydropower Project which is still under construction was severely damaged by a massive landslide. Despite the fact that there were no serious damages found there.
Due to landslides brought on by prolonged rain the hydropower project has occasionally had problems earlier.
It should be emphasised that the northeast has had torrential rain for the past three days causing significant damage, road closures and landslides.
Major safety concerns are raised for the site employees due to a landslide at the NHPC project site.
