International Desk, 29th October: Tragic news emerges as Matthew Perry, renowned for his role in the beloved television series ‘Friends,’ was discovered deceased in his Los Angeles residence, according to law enforcement sources.
The 54-year-old actor was found unresponsive in a hot tub around 4 pm on Saturday. The cause of death remains unknown, and investigations are ongoing. No indications of foul play or drugs were found at the scene.
Robbery-homicide detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department are currently probing the incident, while the cause of death is set to be determined by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Warner Bros. Television Group, the producers of ‘Friends,’ expressed their deep sorrow at Perry’s passing, recognizing his substantial contributions to the world of comedy. On Saturday evening, LAPD crime scene tape cordoned off the entrance to Perry’s residence on Bluesail Drive, marking a somber scene.
