Meghalaya Announces 15-Member Squad for 3rd NECDC Interstate Friendship Tournament 2025
Shillong: The Meghalaya Cricket Association (MCA) has officially announced its 15-member squad for the 3rd NECDC Senior Men’s Interstate Friendship Tournament 2025, scheduled to be held in Nagaland next month.
Hosted by the Nagaland Cricket Association under the North East Cricket Development Council (NECDC), the tournament is aimed at sharpening the competitive edge of northeastern state teams ahead of the BCCI 2025-26 domestic season.
Meghalaya has been placed in Group B alongside defending champions Nagaland and Sikkim, while Group A includes Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, and Mizoram.
Match Schedule:
• May 5: Meghalaya vs Nagaland
• May 6: Meghalaya vs Sikkim
• May 8: Semifinals
• May 10: Final
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals.
The MCA’s senior men’s selection committee has also named five standby players, while Moisten Ch Marak will serve as head coach for the campaign.
