Meghalaya Announces Women’s U-23 One Day Team for BCCI Tournament
Shillong: The Meghalaya Cricket Association’s senior women selection committee has finalized the 15-member squad, along with standbys, to represent the state in the upcoming BCCI U-23 Women’s One Day Trophy 2024-25.
The tournament is scheduled to take place in Pondicherry from March 5 to 13. The selected players are Blaridahun Dkhar, Rikmanchi Sangma, Neelam Roy, Dublin D Nengnong (wicket-keeper), Mansi Anand, Ritreki Pohshna, Monica Singh, Aakriti Pradhan, Fulnessy Mawlong, Ruby Chettri (Captain), Monica L Phawa (Vice-Captain), Ankita Sharma, Saradafica Kharwanniang, Shruti Kumari Ray, and Indariakor Kharwanniang.
The standby players, who will report back to their respective district associations, include Jayshree Singh, Chandini Sahani, Smillin N Sangma, Ridahun Nongsiej, and Aanchal Singh. The team’s preparatory camp commenced today at the Nongkhrah Ground in Ri-Bhoi. The final squad and support staff are slated to depart for Pondicherry on March 2.
