Meghalaya BJP Minister Sanbor Shullai asks govt to regulate entry of tourist taxis in state
Guwahati: BJP Leader and cabinet minister Sanbor Shullai has proposed that the Meghalaya government create a regulation for tourist cabs entering the state from outside.
According to reports, the idea was made in response as the local commercial vehicle drivers were losing money.
Even though Shullai is not the transportation minister, he believes the issue should be discussed.
He believes the state’s current transportation minister should be pressed into action as quickly as feasible.
He further added that the Meghalaya government should pay attention to this issue because it is impacting local commercial vehicle drivers’ wages.
