Meghalaya Chief Minister’s Rocking Performance Sparks Social Media Frenzy

Northeast Desk, 29th December: In a viral video shared on Wednesday, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma showcased his musical prowess by strumming Iron Maiden’s ‘Wasted Years’ at a cafe in Tura.

The performance was part of a reunion of his college rock band ‘Saga,’ organized by former members, including Sangma himself.

The event, held at the Roof Top Cafe in Tura on December 26, saw the chief minister reliving his college days through energetic renditions of Iron Maiden and other hits.

Sangma shared the experience on social media, with the post garnering over 15,000 views and generating enthusiastic comments from fans and friends. “Another rocking night… Iron Maiden this time,” Sangma exclaimed. ‘Wasted Years’ was the 14th single from Iron Maiden’s 1986 album, ‘Somewhere in Time.’
