The tranquil atmosphere of a typical Tuesday afternoon in the popular tourist destination of Pahalgam was shattered when terrorists unleashed a barrage of gunfire in a picturesque meadow.

Tragically, the indiscriminate attack resulted in the deaths of over 25 tourists who were simply enjoying the scenic beauty of the valley.

The incident has sent shockwaves across the nation, highlighting the persistent threat of terrorism in the region.

Among those who tragically lost their lives in the attack was Indian Air Force Corporal Tage Hailyang, a native of Tajang village in the Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh.

Corporal Hailyang was visiting the idyllic valley with his wife when the horrific incident unfolded. While Corporal Hailyang succumbed to the terrorists’ bullets, his wife miraculously survived the ordeal.
