Meghalaya CM Conrad K Sangma Inaugurates Vocational Training Centre at Synod College

Shillong– On October 19, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma inaugurated the Vocational Training Centre at Synod College Annexe, coinciding with the commencement of the college’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations.

During the inauguration, CM Sangma commended the college authorities for their dedication to delivering quality education to students. In a statement shared by the Chief Minister’s Office on their X handle, he praised Synod College, Shillong, for not only focusing on education but also for its commitment to serving the student body and the wider community.

Sangma described the institution as a “premier institution” and acknowledged its ongoing leadership in various educational and social initiatives.

In addition to the inauguration, the Chief Minister urged the college to consider offering vocational trainings, such as mushroom cultivation, to further enhance skill development among students. He emphasized the importance of utilizing various government schemes that could benefit these training programs.

Concluding his visit, CM Sangma congratulated Synod College on its achievements and encouraged the institution to maintain its positive influence on the youth and the society at large.
