Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma Celebrates Dal•Gipa Sobha 2025, Extends Support for Community Development
Shillong: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma attended the Dal•Gipa Sobha 2025 at St. Peter’s Church in Purakhasia, West Garo Hills on January 31, where he praised the power of faith and community.
Through his official social media handles, CM Sangma expressed his gratitude for witnessing the remarkable work being done to foster youth leadership through service and responsibility.
He wrote, “Grateful to witness the incredible work being done to nurture youth leadership through service and responsibility. These acts of kindness and unity build the foundation for tomorrow’s leaders. Thank you for inspiring us all to serve with humility and love.”
The chief minister also acknowledged the church’s commitment to community service and its role in encouraging youth leadership. “Thank you for your service to the community and for encouraging youth leadership by nurturing future leaders through responsibility and acts of service,” he added.
Earlier in the day, CM Sangma attended the 3rd Annual Conference of the Meghalaya Hajong Welfare Association in Purakhasia, South West Garo Hills, where he extended a grant of Rs 7 lakhs through the Chief Minister’s Special Grant. During the event, he emphasized the government’s focus on inclusivity and equal development for every community and region in the state.
