Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma Dismisses Cabinet Reshuffle Rumors Amid NPP’s Growing Majority
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has dismissed speculation about a potential cabinet reshuffle following the recent expansion of the National People’s Party (NPP) majority. Addressing the rumors, Sangma assured that there are no imminent changes in the cabinet, emphasizing that the government will continue to operate as it currently does. He also clarified that the new members joined the NPP without any promises of cabinet positions, citing their commitment to the developmental needs of their constituencies as their primary motivation.

Additionally, he pledged significant road development projects for the Umsning and Nongstoin constituencies, underscoring the government’s focus on regional development.
