Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma Engages with Citizens in Second “CM Connect” Programme

Northeast Desk, 19th July: In an effort to address public grievances directly, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma hosted the second edition of the “CM Connect” programme at Bhoirymbong in Ri-Bhoi district. This forum provided a platform for residents to voice their concerns directly to the Chief Minister.

During the event, citizens raised a variety of issues, including those related to roads, education, water supply, and electricity. Sangma reassured the attendees of the government’s commitment to resolving these concerns and encouraged residents to file complaints if their issues remain unresolved despite reaching out to local officers and public offices.

“We are dedicated to listening to the public and finding effective solutions to their problems,” Sangma stated. “I urge all stakeholders to collaborate in this spirit, engage actively, and work towards resolving the challenges faced by our people.”

The “CM Connect” programme aims to strengthen the government’s connection with its citizens, ensuring that their voices are heard and their needs addressed.
