Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma Pays Tribute to Late Manipur MLA N Kayisii

Shillong: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma paid his last respects to N Kayisii, the sitting MLA from Manipur’s Tadubi constituency, during a solemn funeral ceremony at the MBCMK Church Compound in Manipur on January 20.

Remembering Kayisii’s impactful leadership, CM Sangma described him as “a dynamic leader who worked committedly for the people of Manipur.” He praised Kayisii for his steadfast dedication to public service, noting his firm convictions and ability to uphold the trust of his constituents with dignity and respect.

Sangma extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends, and colleagues of Kayisii, recognizing the significant loss to the political community and the people of Manipur.

N Kayisii, a senior leader of the National People’s Party (NPP) and a former Cabinet Minister in Manipur, was a well-respected figure in regional politics. Representing the Tadubi Assembly Constituency, his tenure was defined by a grassroots approach and an unwavering commitment to addressing critical issues faced by his constituents.
