Meghalaya CM Launches E-Books for CM IMPACT – Meghalaya Class Readiness Program
Shillong: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on February 5 launched the e-books for the CM IMPACT – Meghalaya Class Readiness Program (MCRP), an initiative aimed at improving the quality of education and boosting pass percentages in schools.
• Focus on Learning Quality: The program aims to enhance students’ learning experiences, ensuring they achieve grade-level learning outcomes.
• Teacher Support: It enables teachers to provide interactive and enjoyable learning experiences in classrooms.
• Better Learning Environment: The initiative seeks to improve the overall learning atmosphere in educational institutions.
About the MCRP:
• Launched in January 2025, at the start of the academic year.
• A bridge course program designed for primary, upper primary, and secondary classes.
• Subjects Covered: English, Mathematics, and Science.
• Includes activity packs with subject-specific and class-specific activities aligned with learning competencies.
CM Sangma highlighted that the initiative is a systematic reform to address Meghalaya’s educational challenges, ensuring students build a strong foundation for academic success.
