Meghalaya CM Vowed to Run For South Garo Hills Seat in 2023
Guwahati: The chief minister of Meghalaya and National president of the National People’s Party (NPP) Conrad K. Sangma, stated that he would run for the South Tura seat in the 2023 Assembly elections (most likely) as election fever swept numerous Indian states.
The Chief Minister, who is the incumbent MLA for the constituency stated that he has not yet decided on a second seat from which he would run for office.
He declared that there would be no question about the fact that he would be running from the South Tura seat.
He continued by saying that he has complete faith in his supporters and has no second thoughts about it.
In South Tura, the NPP president received a total of 13,656 votes out of the 22,200+ votes cast.
