Meghalaya Cricket Association Announces Squad for BCCI Senior Women’s T20 Trophy Preparatory Camp
Northeast Desk, 19th September: The Meghalaya Cricket Association (MCA) has released a list of 25 players who have been shortlisted for the final selection trial-cum-preparatory camp for the upcoming BCCI Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2024-25. The camp is scheduled to start on September 23 at the MCA Ground in Polo, Shillong.
The shortlisted players were selected based on their performances during the Senior and U-23 Women’s selection trials held earlier this year in Jagiroad, Assam. All players are expected to report to Shillong on September 22, with the first training session commencing at 8:30 a.m. the following day.
The 25 cricketers named include notable talents such as Riticia Nongbet, Luiza Tamang, Debasmita Dutta, and Suruti Kumari Ray, among others. The squad features a mix of seasoned players and promising new faces, ready to make their mark in the upcoming T20 tournament.
The camp will be overseen by Head Coach Deepali C Patkar, with support from Assistant Coach Mackie D Blah, Physio Wandashisha Dkhar, and Trainer Darishesha Mawroh. The Meghalaya team is gearing up for a challenging season in the BCCI Senior Women’s T20 Trophy, aiming for a strong performance.
As excitement builds, the preparatory camp will play a crucial role in finalizing the team and ensuring they are ready for the competition ahead.
