Guwahati: The Meghalaya Government is proposing to create land banks to establish important tourist destinations/locations/routes by third-party interventions under the public-private-partnership (PPP) approach.
This is being decided to stimulate the tourism sector in Meghalaya.
However, this is being done primarily due to the face that towns and individuals either own or control land in the state.
