Sports: The OC Blue Shillong Premier League 2024 kicked off the new year with a mixed bag of results. Defending champions Mawlai SC secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over Laitkor SC, while Rangdajied United FC thumped Nongthymmai SC 4-0 in a dominant display.
Baiaikara Swer scored the lone goal for Mawlai in the 82nd minute, while Owanijuh Pajuh, Benny Khriam, and RT Hanson Pdang found the net for Rangdajied.
Mawlai now lead the standings with 16 points, while Rangdajied climb to fourth with 12 points.
