Meghalaya: NPP and VPP Unite to Demand Creation of Mawsynram Civil Subdivision
Northeast Desk, 5th October: The National People’s Party (NPP) and the Voice of the People Party (VPP) have joined forces to advocate for the establishment of a *Mawsynram Civil Subdivision. Leaders from both parties came together in support of a protest organised by the *Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) Sawsymper, Border Area, and Lawbah Area Circles, which was held at Madan Malki in Shillong.

Shangpliang emphasized that the upgradation would bring significant administrative and developmental benefits to the region.
