Meghalaya reports one more COVID death, 270 new cases in last 24 hours

The state of Meghalaya reported another COVID death taking the total death toll to 60 in the state. The new deceased is a 85-year-old man, resident of Ri-Bhoi district. The deceased died in a COVID hospital in Shillong on Tuesday.

The state also reported 270 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours,  115 patients have also recovered, taking the total recoveries in the state to 4,606. The new 270 cases includes 195 cases from East Khasi Hills, 19 from Ri-Bhoi district, 26 from West Garo Hills, 10 from West Jantia Hills, 7 from South West Garo Hills, 6 from East Jaintia Hills, 3 from North Garo Hills, 2 from East Garo Hills and 1 each from West Khasi Hills.
