Guwahati: A female student from Shillong’s Ri Bhoi in Meghalaya was discovered dead in Rajasthan’s Modi College under suspicious circumstances on April 27.
The young lady was a first-year student at Laxman Garh Sekhawati, Rajasthan’s Modi College. The student’s hanging body was discovered in her room under strange circumstances.
The police have started an investigation based on the family’s allegation but the girl’s family has claimed someone was involved. The girl was a good student who moved quickly through her academics, according to the girl’s family, thus any doubts about suicide are difficult.
According to reports, the deceased student had just started college this year and was about to recieve a prize.
The girl’s body was handed over to her family and flown back to Shillong after the post-mortem.
Rajasthan police have started the investigation regarding the incident.
