Meghalaya TMC Candidate Criticises NPP for Their Remark About “Crowd Strength”

Guwahati: Trinamool Congress star campaigners including well-known Trinamool Congress officials are scheduled to arrive in the election-bound state of Tripura.

On February 1, the All India Trinamool Congress released the names of prominent candidates for the 2018 assembly elections.

In this context, Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress tweeted, “New era of development is coming to Tripura following @MamataOfficial’s ideology. Several top leaders of TMC are going to campaign in Tripura with a message of change ahead of the assembly elections”.

On February 6 and 7, All India Trinamool Congress National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee and All India Trinamool Congress President Mamata Banerjee would come in the state in preparation for the upcoming assembly elections.

Subrata Bakshi, president of the West Bengal Trinamool Congress and Sudip Banerjee, a senior Trinamool Congress official and member of the Lok Sabha will campaign in Tripura.

Along with well-known leaders from West Bengal, a total of 37 prominent campaigners, including Lok Sabha MP Mahua Maitra, Kakali Ghosh Dastidar, Mimi Chakraborty, the Mayor of Kolkata, and Minister for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Firhad Hakim, are coming to encourage and support the candidates of the All India Trinamool Congress in the upcoming assembly elections.

Shashi Panja, a minister for the All India Trinamool Congress and Kunal Ghosh, a spokesperson for the party are also arriving.

Additionally, Rajib Banerjee, who is in charge of the Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress, Pijush Kanti Biswas, the president of the Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress and the chairman of the Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress Election Committee, Sushmita Dev, a Rajya Sabha member of the All India Trinamool Congress and Ashish Lal Singh, co-chairman of the Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress Election

Sayani Ghosh, the president of the West Bengal Youth Trinamool Congress, Debangshu Bhattacharya, the spokeswoman for the West Bengal State Trinamool Congress, Sudeep Raha, the vice president of the West Bengal Trinamool Student Council and other leaders of the Youth Trinamool Congress are travelling to Tripura to support the state’s young people.

As part of the campaign for the assembly elections, actors Deepak Adhikari (Dev), a Lok Sabha MP, Soham Chakraborty (an MLA), Aditi Munshi (a MLA and a well-known singer), Sayantika Bandyopadhyay (an actress), June Mallya (an actress), and other actors and actresses are participating.
