Meghalaya Unveils State Anthem on 52nd Statehood Day
Northeast Desk, 20th January: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma announced the release of Meghalaya’s State Anthem on the occasion of Meghalaya’s 52nd Statehood Day. Expressing pride in unveiling this symbolic composition, Sangma emphasized the significance of having a State Anthem after 52 years of Meghalaya’s Statehood.
The anthem eloquently captures Meghalaya’s cultural richness and blessings, serving as a call to unity. Sangma urged all residents to work harmoniously towards the advancement of the State. Earlier in the day, Sangma celebrated the occasion in Tura, paying homage to freedom fighters, leaders of the Hill State Movement, and visionaries who paved the way for Meghalaya.
