Northeast, 5th Jan: Meghalaya has proudly earned the 2nd Runner Up title at the One District One Product (ODOP) Awards 2023, marking a significant achievement for the state’s local artisans and farmers.
The prestigious award, presented by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, was announced during a ceremony at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Meghalaya’s Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma, conveyed the news and emphasized that this recognition is a motivating force for the state’s farmers and skilled artisans. It acknowledges their dedication to showcasing unique products on national and international platforms.
The event, hosted by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, celebrated Meghalaya’s commitment to the ODOP initiative, reflecting the state’s ongoing efforts to promote local products.
